Bertram accidentally shaves part of Luke's head. He and Zuri fear retaliation. Meanwhile, to avoid being teased about her wedding, Jessie lies and tells Darla that Tony is Brooks when she comes to visit.
Scripted by the A Song of Ice and Fire writer George R.R. Martin, this was an episode with plenty of great moments, though the 'purple wedding' obviously took centre stage. At the Dreadfort, we saw just how broken Theon Greyjoy, or 'Reek', has become, with the sadistic Ramsay making the Ironborn shave his face, while explaining to him that Robb Stark died after being betrayed by the Boltons. Alfie Allen continues to impress as Theon, his downtrodden devastation at hearing his best friend has been murdered all captured in his darting eyes and shaking hand.
After ordering Reek to shave him, Ramsay cajoles him into admitting that Bran and Rickon Stark are still alive. Ramsay reminds his father that the boys are now heirs to House Stark's rule of the North following Robb Stark's death, and nearly all the Northerners, who are furious at House Bolton and House Frey's treachery against the Starks, will rally behind Bran and Rickon rather than Roose if they learn the boys are alive. Ramsay, knowing how close Theon was to Robb, gleefully taunts him by revealing details of the Red Wedding, particularly relishing the fact that it was Roose who personally murdered Robb. Despite being clearly shaken to know the man he considered a brother is dead at the hands of his new masters, Theon does not openly react.
Over a meal, Jaime and Tyrion discuss Jaime's gilded steel hand, and he discloses to Tyrion that he can no longer fight, as all of his instincts are wrong using his left hand. Jaime is perturbed that people will find out that he cannot fight so Tyrion tells him that he needs to train with his left hand with someone trustworthy in order to better protect the king, as the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.
The transformation theme played out in the other POVs as well, the ones that were ignored last week. (All of them were very strong, too). Ramsay transformed Theon into \"Reek,\" his faithful servant (in an elaborate show of loyalty, he has Theon shave his neck while he tells him Robb is dead, why, and how. Theon's loyalty does not waiver). Ramsay is also transforming himself into a legitimate heir for Roose, who dismisses him as his bastard, but later sees him with new eyes. Ramsay is batshit crazy, yes, but he gets good results from his methods (like unearthing the fact that Bran and Rickon are alive).
Jessie's stepsister Darla comes to visit, and Jessie enlists Tony's help to try to cover up the fact she didn't go through with the wedding. Meanwhile, Luke shaves for the first time and when Bertram comes to help, things get a bit hairy.
Bauman reroutes Joyce's call to another state, warning her to make the call quick and demand proof that Hopper is alive. The call goes to a Russian phone booth, where \"Enzo\", who demands she brings forty thousand dollars to \"Yuri's Fish and Fly\" in Nome, Alaska in two days if she wants to trade Hopper for the money. She demands to speak to Hopper, but Enzo states that Hopper is \"stuck\" while a woman outside yells at him in Russian. He hangs up, leaving Joyce and Bauman to wonder what just happened. Unable to get any information out of Hopper, the Russians send him to the Kamchatka prison camp, where he has been for nine months. They shave his head and face and warn him that he will be killed if he tries to escape.
Eleven, hiding in an employee's only closet, overhears Angela laughing at her. She emerges and confronts her, only for Angela to taunt her about Hopper, prompting an enraged Eleven to hit her in the face with her skate. The hit cuts her face between her eyebrows, and the scene attracts the attention of the entire rink as Angela cries in distress and pain. A shocked Mike asks her \"what did you do\", prompting a repressed flashback of Martin Brenner and the corpses of the dead test subjects.
Back in NYC, Rachel seeks Brody's assistance while he does sit-ups. Rachel asks him a favour and explains that Cassandra doesn't think Rachel's sexy enough and she wants Brody to dance with her in class. Brody quickly says that \"Cassie\" would not let any Upperclassmen perform in her class. Rachel quickly apologises, but when Brody sees her performance, he changes his mind and agrees, leaving Rachel with a content expression. 3 is then sung by Tina, Sam and Joe in the choir room while New Directions watches. Brittany looks unsettled throughout the performance. Towards the end of the song, she gets up, confusing everyone. She goes to the corner of the choir room, plugs in a shaver into the powerpoint and is just about to shave her hair like Britney Spears did when Will stops her. New Directions is in shock, Brittany explaining that Coach Sylvester has taken away her high pony and if she hasn't got that high pony, she doesn't want anymore of her hair. She raises the shaver again and this time, everyone screams.
Cassandra is seen practicing some dance moves at NYADA in front of a mirror when she sees Rachel behind her. Cassandra says \"I'm working.\" Rachel apologises for all the things she had said to Miss July for they were completely wrong and out of line. Rachel says she felt like Cassandra was picking on her for no reason. Cassandra tells Rachel to stop talking. \"Look. You lost it and you lashed out. Same as I did ten years ago. Except, all it took for you to snap was a little honest feedback and excuse me, dance class. And you expect to make it on Broadway Where all there is is scrutiny and judgement And what if someone taped you a littleearlier And posted it on the internet You'd never get cast...You have one chance... You screw it up... You're done...You're that crazy actress...And why would anybody want to work with you\" Cassandra says while she moves. Rachel looks disappointed and regretful as Cassandra lecturres her. Rachel says Miss July was good and Cassandra said that she was great and asks Rachel to come closer. \"But it doesn't make a difference, cause I wasn't ready for the pressure. Believe me... It's a WHOLE lot more vicious out there than it is in here, that's why I pick on my students. I want them to be ready...\" Cassandra says. While she says this, Rachel assists her as she does a few stretches. Cassandra says Rachel is not ready yet and if she had a choice, Cassandra wouldn't let Rachel back in class because she doesn't believe in second chances and she knows they don't exist. Unfortunately for Cassandra, the school policy said that Rachel gets a warning. Rachel gives an expression of relief. \"So you're in an on probation and dance duty. Handwash all of them.\" Cassandra tells Rachel. Rachel nods, as she is dismissed, Cassandra calling her \"Schwimmer\" again and telling Rachel not to forget the hamper on the way out.
In Season 4 Episode 2 he has a short beard, but he get's shaved by Reek in the same episode to prove that Reek is loyal to him. The first Episode of the game seems to be set between Season 4 Episode 1 and 2, so it makes sense
Don't forget he was travelling for a week or two and only camping. It's not a major priority to boil water to shave when you're doing that. Personally, it'd take me a couple of weeks to get that scruffy, but I know guys who shave every morning and look unshaven 12 hours later.
Ramsay's beard could've been shaved before he arrived at Ironrath. Beards all grow at different rates it depends on what genes you have. Some of my friends cannot grow a beard no matter how long they don't shave. I on the other hand can grow a full beard in about a month and a half. Ramsay without a beard in episode 1 is more intimidating because you can see every detail of his face and his expression is much more vivid. 59ce067264
